Thank you for making this video on such short notice Cody. Really appreciate it! Looking forward to putting the 100m off & pre-seasong program into full use after resolving the shin splints. Will be picking up the 60 & 200m program as well. Keep the great content coming and again, thank you. //DanO (requested this video )

I sprint on my high school track team and it’s preseason right now. I’ve gotten healthier, stronger, and a lot faster and more explosive than last season, but the one thing that’s been holding me back is my shin pain. Thank you for this video 🙏

What would you suggest for those who don't have chronic shin splints but only get them during a session? They subside afterwards but inhibit my ability to complete the session with quality as I can only do a few rounds of jumping / bounding before my shins begin to hurt. I'm a triple jumper.

I am a HS sprint coach (2nd season so I'm still learning alot). I have an athlete who is starting to get some medial calf pain after he runs. I videoed his form and discovered his max velocity mechanics involve a drastic forward lean from the hips, he over casts (or over reaches with his foot) and his heal is what contacts the ground first, with his toe pointing up at almost a 45 degree angle relative to the ground. (I can send you a screenshot to see what I'm talking about) What are some things I can do to improve this. I am going to incorporate alot of posterior chain strength work. I tried some downhill running as well that seemed to help somewhat forcing him to stand more upright as well as making sure his foot contacts ground under his body as opposed to over casting his foot. What are other things I could do to help improve his form?

#1 way to reduce systemic inflammation: eliminate all plant oils and replace with animal fats.
