Joy Crown Wound Dressing Fixation Tape is made by non-woven or medical polyurethane film, hypoallergenic adhesive (hot-melt or acrylic adhesive). The backing are often made of coated paper or film.The fixation tape is an excellent breathable general purpose tape, which may be used for many different applications such as securing bulky dressings, tubing and small splints. The latex-free hypoallergenic adhesive offers high strength adhesion that is gentle to the skin. Excellent for repeated applications on sensitive skin and elderly patients. Allows for moisture evaporation and skin to breathe, leaving minimal adhesive residue upon removal. Its non-irritating adhesive allows for easy removal, making it a great first aid tape for post-surgery applications and frequent gauze changes. Based on the different material, the fixation tape has two types, one is non woven fixation tape, which is made by non woven fabric with hypoallergenic adhesive. And another is transparent dressing fixation tape, which is made by medical polyurethane film coated with hypoallergenic adhesive (acrylic adhesive or hot melt glue), providing maximum versatility and is the affordable choice for skin protection and water proof cover dressing.
Our dressing fixation fabric tape is a self-adhesive, non-woven fabric/PU tape for wide area fixation of wound dressings, or other medical sticking and fixation, such as fixed conduit and catheter, plaster fixation and reinforcement, etc. The dressing fixation tape can protect skin from external friction and cross-infection of wounds.
