FIXED! Action Man Sharpshooter Position Head re-string! Palitoy Hasbro GIJOE Vintage repair

@toypolloi is a really useful channel! I have been using a nut for a #8 machine screw as my anchor - I thread one side of the two elastic straps through the nut, cinch it down into the top of the neck post, and use a square knot. I plan to just 3D print a bunch of neck posts with two slots in it so that you would not need an anchor. One of the "fixes" that I see people doing is to use a small plastic cable tie instead of the elastic, because it is cheap and you do not need an anchor (the clasp is too big to go through the slot in the top of the neck post) but those are always too tight to get good movement of the head.

The 3d printed neck would be a good solution especially for those that went lost or broken
