IN MY CASE I tried everything but still not connection to 'internet' so I realized that the DATE was wrong!! I when to: SETTINGS-GENERAL-DATE AND TIME-AND I PRESS THE SELECT AUTOMATIC DATE AND TIME BUTTON. Right away after that my wifi cames back (I was connected to my wifi but without internet conection) and also it ask me to update the tap. SOLVED

Did a factory reset, didn't work try adjusting the time and date settings, no setting available for automatic, only manual settings available. I can get it to connect to Wi-Fi, and it just keeps dropping the Wi-Fi telling me that the network isn't there. Then it shows up again. I connected it to my phone's hotspot same problem.

If you're using an Archer C6 router, make sure your access point mode settings under advanced security settings is set to blacklist mode, not whitelist. My mothers galaxy would not connect all evening until i figured out the router has these 2 access modes... 😅

I have a a6 on the factory reset/newly bought screen and i cant proceed without wifi and it wont work
