personally my USB port that I plugged my keyboard and mouse on wasn't working and I plugged them in another USB port and my problem was fixed

Friends if the keyboard is not working after the last update. Go to the control panel and open the program and features and then see the last update date.See windows last update. Maybe Microsoft Edge and beneath there will be another Microsoft update. Both will be on the same date. And u would have experienced it after that the keyboard was not working. So Uninstall both and restart. See the magic. Try it really.

lol when i put keyboard on laptop h button reacting like backspace and both laptop and extra keyboard didn't work and when i connect keyboard on mbile with otg only backspace button work. And when i remove extra keyboard from laptop and restart laptop keyboard and all thing working properly what should i do anyone ?

hello my problem is that not just that my keyboard don't work properly it's that when i use my keyboard called Zeus K500 it turns off my pc and says "shutdown" or sometimes "locking" and also yes i have windows 10 do you have a fix for that?

Drives me bananas. I run Ubuntu on the same machine. Windows 10 keyboard was working then it's not. So I've tried a lot of fixes and with 5 different keyboards. Just bought a new one. Nope. Ubuntu on the other hand, runs them all new, old... whatever. Doesn't skip a beat. Just plug them in and go. I could plug a lawnmower in and it would work. What the hell is with Windows?

From last recently updates of Win 10 guess 21H2 update may be both Keyboard with Mouse when open pc first time after few minutes suddenly stop working untill press restart button and then work both fine. I tried even recovery but still have every other day this pop up. Tried and wish next days will have no 🎹 with mouse issues. Thx .

My god I cannot for the life of me find my error. This happened to me last year and I just figured out how to fix it on Windows 10. I had an Acer laptop and one day I left it alone and it automatically started updating to Windows 10. It had first been running windows 8 and every time it asked me to update it I would decline and hit the "remind me later" button but this damn thing kept coming up everyday. I went out one day and left it on and when I came back the damn thing was in the middle of installing windows 10. I didnt realise that I had some how unplugged the charger so it was running on battery power. It got to the configuring screen after installing and then it ran out of power and just turned off. I panicked and turned it back on and at first everything seemed to be working fine. After some time I realised it would randomly press different keys, sometimes the g or the v or number 3 etc. The only way to stop it was to randomly press other keys until it registered those and went back to normal. I turned on the virtual keyboard and I could see which random keys were being selected. Some keys wouldnt work at all like the enter button for example. This became a very huge problem because when I was watching KZbin videos or filling out forms it would randomly press keys and it would badly effect the usability of the computer. I took it to 3 different repair shops and they didnt know what was wrong with it either apart from the last guy. The last guy went into the bios and realised that all the keys worked perfectly in the bios but very badly in Windows itself. He had a copy of Windows 7 and he connected a usb disk drive and just installed that and it worked perfectly. A whole year I put up with this, an entire year of absolute horrible browsing experience. Imagine doing some homework or clicking in the search bar to change websites and then randomly seeing vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv being typed or something to that effect. The worst one was when it would register the backspace button and delete all my work. I tried researching this and I cannot find another person who has had this issue. I suppose I was the unlucky winner.

All this is great but when windows updates it restarts the machine. Now I can't log on to get to the desktop and can't enter bios to change boot up sequence to restore the machine or start in safe mode. Do you have any suggestions? I've recently paid several thousand pounds on what was a great gaming pc and is now just a heater.
