Normal day for a truck driver, a very kind member of the public reported me for being in a 7.5 tonne zone while trying to find my way to delivery. There’s a lot of people who have little understanding that every thing they eat use etc is delivered by a wagon. I’m seriously thinking of hanging up my driving boots 🥾 🥾

It's nice to see a driver who shows consideration for other people and observes the speed limit I followed a Irish forty footer along a single carriage way road with a forty speed limit he was over the speed limit to the extent that a speed warning sign flashed that he was doing forty eight going across round abouts he did not wait, so I made a note of the company and phoned the transport manager in Ireland as you said about the tipper driver in another video no need to drive like an idiot. My car is fitted with two audible alarms if I go over the speed limit so was amazed to see him leave me for dust. Stay safe

Playing mental games working out the best HGV route, up against the clock and tacho, you have your planner on your back, we have the Police, VOSA on i Us, not too mention millions are stupid drivers, who quite frankly aren’t safe to be on the road and pull out in front of you when your fully loaded and expect you to stop on a penny, not too mention the hours we put in. No 9 till 5pm for us! One thing though I keep secret from my wife, I sleep better in Volvo FH than at home. It’s just silence and me in my comfy memory foam mattress and the I pad with Netflix and I can watch what ever I want. I’m the King of my cab😂😂

@@skiptonn all you’ll have to get your class 2 first to get some experience maybe two years. After that go for your class 1. You may have to start on days or nights, but after a while you’ll get your cab which you can personalise out. I have a Mercedes Actros which I have my own microwave, coffee machine and little gas cooker. When you apply for a class 2 you’ll have to get a medical done first which isn’t too much just your blood pressure, eye test etc, then inquire at a local HGV school who will spoon feed you through the training and what you need like your CPC license. You can go straight to class one, but because you’ll have no experience you’ll struggle to get a job driving class one artics. So make sure you do your class 2 first. Once you’ve passed agencies is the best route because you’ll get work, & the experience to put down on your C.V. You’ll be driving different trucks on different routes but at least you’ll get the experience you need.
