No worries man. You're further ahead with the 350. It's lighter and the mounts are all in place already. I still gotta build mine. Lol

I'm picking up my mock up trans and a spare block so you might see engine mounts being built sooner than later... engines and transmissions are my thing. I got a feeling I'll have er built or close to built before long here. Lol. Take a break from rust repair

Correct me if I'm wrong, but would this process work for my 91 D350 1st gen? I need to swap both windows regulators and motors. Thanks

It should be the same yep. I'm sure they used the same mechanisms if a slightly different motor. Should be good to go man

Do you remove the spring out... ?

If you're referring to the coiled spring that counterweights the motor to the linkage, I left it in and replaced the whole assembly from a donor door. It's totally removable but under a fair bit of tension and I prefer to avoid it. A pain to get back in place as well. Hope that helps man 👍🏼

@@jorgeluistovarrea745 that may be what happened to mine in the end. It was skipping and no longer moving the window so the force from the spring would wear it hard over time. Thanks for the insight!
