I can’t believe I just came across your video! I handed down my FAVORITE Levi shorts that I have had since I was 18 to my 24 year old daughter and two button holes need that same repair! I bought them to a tailor last week and was turned away saying she could not do it. I was shocked and frustrated with her refusal. It truly surprised me. I set them aside and figured I would try it myself! Your video is a Godsend to me! I am gathering my supplies right now and going to get started. Only difference is, I am not doing with a sewing machine. I am going to do it by hand. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My “vintage” beat up jean shorts from 4 decades ago can happily live on!!!🩷💕🩷

Love this series! I just fixed my husband’s jeans. He had a split / tear right beside the rear pocket. Grrrr. I have a bag of old denim so I put a piece in and loads of backwards forwards stitching. I asked him if he’d tried them on and he said yes I wore them all day yesterday. I didn’t notice. High five 🙌 Now I have to alter a shop bought dress wheee the shoulders are too big. If you’re doing one of those videos then I’m all ears!
