When i do these repairs i just replace the diaphrams while im the the carbs just to be safe if they are almost hard, the ones you messed with are definitely in need of replacement and they are so cheap for bulk diaphrams i replace every one of them unless it's a relatively new one, great video though, can't wait to see more of your lot

Thanks for commenting! I only went through the trouble to compare the condition and use the best one because they were both aftermarket carbs and there's almost no service support for them. I typically do not have good luck fitting the OEM diaphragms into these due to screw hole patterns being different, center pin differences, etc. so I don't even bother. I'm sure this is on purpose so they have you continuing to buy aftermarket carbs (which is likely the route I would have taken since this is a lower end machine). I did get bulk Zama/Walbro diaphragms in since filming this, but I still question how reliably they'd fit into aftermarket carbs. Do you have good luck with this?
