If I may recommend Iridium spark plugs to your viewers... They're significantly more expensive than other plugs, but worth it in the long run. They run great in my 96 4.6. They'll outlast all the other ones.

Great video! Need to look into this as my 03 Machs AC just quit recently. Had and still have a bunch of New Edges between me and my son with all kinds of different performance mods over the years. The one mod we’ve had no luck with were aftermarket throttle bodies. Would always seem to have issues at some point with them.

I've seen a lot of guys fixed a lot of parts... Trying to find the misfire... The most I've ever seen fixed on these cars would be the 2 upper 02 sensors.... One thing I've learned about the new edge.... I would encourage anybody that starts to have misfire and problems... After ruling out some of the stuff if you've done coils spark plugs etc.... Change the opera 202 senses with proper motorcraft sensors

What socks is we don't know what actually made this car have the issue.... Because you fixed 2 things so we don't know which one fixed the problem... Was it the spark plugs for the relay control Box....

That model is bad about getting water in number 3 and eventually destroying the plug and coil

Lol I got random misfire code and a code saying I need to replace coil packs. Hmmmm wonder what it could be

The ac goes out because of that module too, just fixed mine (desoldered relay and replaced for $6) but now the ac clutch bearing is rattling so thats next, missfiring worse now too. Hopefully not that module (ac, fuel pump, and some other stuff have relays in there). Going to start with plugs.

Plugs and module fixed this one and it's still running like a champ

Hey 🙋🏻‍♂️I have changed spark plugs , fuel pump, fuel filter , air mass sensor, air mass switch , and I still have miss firing !!! To a point it can turn off .. when I start it again it drives for few minutes and after that the miss firing gets worse and it turns off again .. !! Any idea ??? Nobody managed to fix my issue .. the fuel pressure is perfect!!

Well good f..kn luck!!! Been dealing with an 03 4.6 and have thrown the store at it and everybody's found it, but by all differant places!!! And i'm talking bout experianced og's! The truth about these ford electronic nightmares, IS IT COULD A CAN AND WILL BE FLIPPEN ANYWHERE AND EVERYTHING! I CAN'T STAND TO EVEN LOOK AT ANYMORE!!!!!!! STILL DOING IT, MEANING MISSING IN CLOSED LOOP!! AND THESE ARE THE SIMPLE MODELES!!!! THE NEWER ONES LOL LOL ARE A.L.O.T........MORE COMPLICATED! IV'E BEEN MECHANICING FOR 50 YEARS.......AND I'D RATHER PICK UP A HAMMER AND START BEATING MY TOES AS MESS WITH IT ANYMORE!!!!! AS A MATTER OF FACT, THATS WHAT I DO IS GRAB A HAMMER WHEN I LOOK AT IT!! THAT......KEEPS IT OUTA MY SIGHT!!!!!

Sounds like what my 02 gt is doing except rain or no rain doesn't matter. Already did plugs and intake gaskets

@@YLegalRacing yup, I'm gonna pick up my own scanner this weekend to view the live data. My plugs definitely was due and I started to get coolant in the valley from the intake gaskets too. I just got this car just over 2 months ago and trying to get her back in shape. Overall not a bad car, just this misfire is driving me crazy!!!
