What was wrong with it? Only the crack in the plastic?

Bearings were siezed so slowing it down and making it noisy. Plastic crack was cause or result. Who knows.

Interesting video. Mine issue is that the motor does not stop to screw in the piston. Do you think i can fix it ?

You will have to take it apart and look to see what the problem is.

Can someone please tell me which wires should be power or ground to retrofit these 2007 D2 A8L calipers to another car? Which of the smaller wires are signal/trigger wires to activate the electromagnetic solenoid and clamp the rotor? Thank you

I'm dealing with a 2018 outlander with epb the actuator is fried. And would you know no parts available at all. My question can you just purchase the motor or are most these actuators the same to interchange. Any help I'd appreciate it. Thanks

For VW I buy second hand motors and strip them for parts. That is how I get a replacement electric motor.

Bearings Drive cog needle bearing; isd 6mm x osd10mm x w9mm. Known as HK0609 Drive cog main bearing; isd 6mm x osd 19mm x w6mm. Known as 626Z Wobble gear bearing (x2); iso15mm x osd24mm x w5mm. Known as 6802Z isd = inside dimeter osd = outside diameter. w = width

Preaty sure this is not an original servo. The original will never ever ever open That eazy! Ask me how i know...

It is original and they do open ok if you take care. I have repaired many.
