Currently yes.. previously used to be amazing. Only letting my lawn go because I'm moving house and the house I'm in now will be bulldozed so the lawn will get destroyed so just giving it the basic trim nothing else. Why waste money right?

Hey mate just after some advise. We have 2 golden retrievers and kids and looking at putting about 60m2 out the back and 50m2 of turf out the front. Just wondering how would tiftuf cope with dogs? I haven't seen many people with it and if they do they don't have dogs or know how it will go. I've been recommended Kikuyu as best for bigger dogs and kids but I like the feel of couch grass haha. Basically don't want to spend the extra coin on tiftuf if it's not fit for the purpose. No bore on the house but has full sun.

Because I had oversowed with Bent and Ryegrass and unfortunately it damaged the green quite a bit. I really should have sprayed it out at the start of spring instead of near the start of summer.

@LawnTips3 жыл бұрын
Some of the spots actually filled in this week 🤙🏼 the fert and regular mowing is helping a lot. Some warmer night temps has been very welcome as well! I should have never oversowed with bent and rye on this patch though. As soon as I sprayed it out it was so thin

When to and when to not catch clippings? in my novice opinion, would have thought to mow and fling the clippings everywhere.
@LawnTips3 жыл бұрын
If you are only taking the top off with the clipping no need to let them stay on the lawn. They aren’t really going to reshoot from those areas. They might help keep some moisture there though and some nutrients though. We have plenty of rain this week so not really a big need 👍🏽
