Fixing Drum and Cable Steering - Boat Restoration

Hello from 100 Mile House. Watching you rig up the steering on your boat brought back some old good memories of going out in my grandfathers boat while growing up in Powell River back in the 70's. I think his was a 14 or 15ft. The boat had the same steering set up as yours. The steering wasn't hooked up right though - to turn right you had to turn the wheel to the left and vice versa. The steering took a bit of getting used to when I went out in that boat. Congrats on getting yours right the first time. Enjoy your videos. Keep them coming

In my life I’ve owned a coupla inflatable row boats and an inflatable kayak. That was tons o’ fun to watch. I know; I need to get a life! 🤣
