The loss of Bill Norton (and the other big dudes) was huge IMHO. Didn't see much attacking on Sat. Also, Ward and Davis were coming on strong by years end. Big loses not adequately replaced at least so far. Hard to fix getting pushed around.

Maybe they think that defense won't work against these modern high flying spread offenses.

We also had NFL talent guys like Teddy brusci on defensive line to make that defense work. We might not have the talent or personal needed to make that defense work.

Jacob Manu is smart and tough. An excellent player. However, he may be one of these guys who is dependent on big DLs taking up blocks so he can make tackles. Also, can we get more definitive injury reports. Gunner? Anderson? Rhino?

Running QBs may present a problem this year.

We can't con 7:09 trol running quarterbacks with no line speed. We will have to spot a linebacker on running quarterbacks.
