running in engines is one of those things where everybody you talk to does it different. i have always run the engine id idle, gone up and down in revs and maby even q uick drive around the block less than 20 mins run time before the first oil change. even in that short time you see sparkles when you drop the oil. to me thats safere stops the oil filter getting clogged up and oil pressure from lowering marginally.

We typically don’t do oil changes. We just add oil when it gets low. Don’t fall for the big oil propaganda! Never change your oil!

how does one go about mounting a turbo to a cute old carbed engine without all the fancy ecu gadgets (asking for a friend)

They make boost reference carbs but I think they’re mainly for super chargers.

@ShabbaShow i would not plan on running massive amounts of boosts since its a small displacement 8 valve engine with low comp pistons but i would really be intrested if its possible to do analog boost control and ways to go about the carb+turbo combination since space aint a problem because the engine is tiny and space is plenty in the engine bay
