This is so impressive, my first rig 25yrs ago (still own it) was an ‘84 Toyota truck. I could wash it by feel alone knowing every body line so watching you painstakingly recreate them perfectly really hits me in the feelers. Nice work. 🤙🏼

@@turksandjerps it turned out good enough for my patience lol. But seriously yours looks insane. I hd no idea how far off the body was compared to the 1:1… granted it’s still a nice body, the fact that you know yours is now way more accurate makes it even cooler.

Great video, as always! The thing that bugs me the most about the Xtra Cab/4Runner bodies from RC4WD is the A-pillar/front windshield. The A-pillar is way too thick and gets fatter the lower down you go and the windshield seems too short.

Amazing work as always!! Can I acquire a noob corrected xtracab?… I am looking to recreate the Rusty Nails KOH. I have everything to complete the build except for a corrected body. I’ve always wanted one of your rigs, but Mike always has the drop anytime a Toyota noob build goes up for sale lol Once it’s in Mike’s collection it’s there for good haha
@turksandjerps

Doesn’t RC4WD sponsor that race car too? That would be a good body for metal masher to build, it’s pretty crinkled. I don’t know if id like to do another correction anytime soon. Such tedium. Mike is definitely a collector of n00b junk.
