Lockup = higher load

You can raise the lockup speed to combat the lockup surge.

Idk if this will go answered but, on compound setups are you guys using bov in between chargers? Do you only need this if your non vgt both turbos? Thanks, a curious lml owner

I experienced surging that would stall the engine last weekend. It was in 4 low pulling a trailer in the snow. It's your guy's tuning. I was in position 2 on the knob. Stock SCR equipped LML. Something I should look at ? No CEL or codes. Or is this the nature of the tune in a high load to throttle shut scenario ?

I’ve got this really bad on my 6.0. It only happens when pulling a long steep grade an the truck is in lock up at low rpm

(New to turbo diesels) I just bought an 08 Duramax with 83,000 miles on it. I just come of a highway and was sitting in front of a restaurant letting the engine idle for a couple of minutes before I shut it down. A guy with a similar pickup walked by the front of mine. When I went inside we began talking about our trucks, he said that he heard turbo surge when he walked past the front of my pickup. I had no idea what that was, so I started looking and landed on this video. I never heard any noise at all like what you demonstrated at the beginning of your video, and the truck was just sitting there idling. Is this guy FOS or am I missing something. By the way, this truck is completely stock, and no tune at all.
