Awesome video, I'm so glad that the BRNO is finally affordable (relatively) compared to its crazy 7.5k price tag it had before! Its always nice to see a new fresh style of gun and cartridge show up compared to the usual compact carry pistols that are usually released. Even moreso, I'd love to see this cartridge show up in PCCs. Maybe Ruger can release a variant of its PCC with a 7.5 FK barrel and magwell adapter.
I have a copy of guns & ammo, January, 1970, page 57 has an article on 30 carbine loads in the ruger blackhawk. It lists an 80 gr. HP at 2100 FPS. And a 93 gr at 1915 FPS Both loads from a ruger blackhawk

2 questions about the bullet proof vest. (1) Is the square section in the centre for a solid plate to optionally be put into.? (2) Does the square section in the middle, or the centre area vs periphery have more Kevlar sheets.? . I ask this because I was surprised that the copper hollow-point made it through but the solid did not, yes the hollow-point has more velocity, but it also expands which hinders penetration. On the other hand the copper solid has a flat nose which hinders penetration. . I expect that we will learn a lot more in the gel tests. . A couple of requests please with the gel tests (plus others), can you test the same gun with the 10mm barrel side by side with the 7.5 and an idea to get to the bottom of the armor penetration questions. . Can you test at 100-yards on the next grade of body armor down with ballistic gel behind it as this might give a better idea of what was going on in the tests in this video, plus of course it would be interesting, and fun :D. . Many regards, love your channel.

What I'd like to see you try is putting the armor on an actual clay backing. That way the clay deforms so you can see how far in the vest is pushed by the bullet before it stops. If I recall correctly, if it indents more than 44mm, it still counts as an armor failure. Probably because putting a 44mm compression on your chest cavity will kill you anyway, shattered ribs, bone shrapnel, etc...

Reinvented wheel. It's the super 7.62X25. that's it. Nothing more. I feel that this video was a tribute to the endurance to the Cadwell shooters rest. That looks like it has seen its days, but only need a spoof can paint job to look like new.

And .300 Win Mag is nothing more than a super .30-06. More power is more power, bud.

Could you compare the ballistics of the 91g copper round with an underwood extreme penetrator round coming out of 10mm pistol with the same barrel length as the Bruno you used here in another video? I would like to decide whether to buy a full sized Bruno with the copper 91g's or a similiar sized 10mm with extreme penetrators from underwood, I would like to see the gel ballistics and penetration against body armor at 100 yards for both pistols and their respective calibers!

Seems like a .30 carbine put into a bottleneck cartridge.

I absolutely love Eric's excitement!!! The gun is awesome still not cheap but more worried about ammo availability then the price of the gun. I'd definitely buy it

Two things I'd like to see. One a striker fire version were they bring down the bore axis so it's more like the H9. Second someone needs to make a SMG in this round, I'd like to see if extra barrel length would do anything for this round.

With its max pressure,extra barrel length, up to at least 13", will do nice things.

@E S I saw the price and thought... Hmmm, maybe 9x25 Dillon barrel instead. The Dillon allegedly pushes a 90 grain bullet at 2,100 fps. Maybe some xtreme defenders or fort scott solid copper bullets?
@johnsmith-sp6yl4 жыл бұрын
@E S that's about 28 hi-points and the ammo to feed them.

I’d like to see a comparison with this and the LAR Grizzly pistol chambered in 357/45 GWM. Of course the 45 WM would be a fun one to see as well. (Sorry, not donating mine for research purposes.) They can be found but ammo is all custom, well worth it when you can reload your own for a fraction of the price to purchase the FK ammo.
