about video girl: twigs started as a dancer and she appeared in music videos for "do it like a dude" and "price tag" by jessie j. when she launched herself as a singer, many people pointed that she "was that girl that's from the video" and twigs for some time denied it. video girl is like she's feeling (and also people from the industry telling her) that she'll always be the girl from the video and will never achieve a successful career in music..

yess, the experimental approach on this album is headed by arca who helped her to found her sound, so glad that she's going back to that with her new song. definitely my fav album for of hers, and for me her best, is timeless, and is an album that took a few listens 😌
