Hey Mike, i enjoyed watching the video. I drove last year June from Dallas to Fremont CA but how ever driving in Arizona is quite difficult because of high temperature. You should always turn on AC otherwise its very difficult and also you will see a town for every 100s of miles and in between only desert nothing else. So if anyone planning to drive through Arizona you should be very very careful with temperatures. Always carry water bottles.

Some of those same road repairs where going on back then, would think with less vehicles on the road, we would be able to complete the repairs and improvements faster. Be safe out there, my rig is an ambulance so I understand about the drive thur. I know IHop, and others allow for carryout also, just hard to preplan.

He was smart enough to pull over and was really billowing. Even his steer brakes were smoking. My theory is it’s better to have to tap the throttle to keep your speed then have to be riding your brakes constantly

Famous for their steaks you picked it out of the window and they fixed it to your liking, and they had Deep Dish Peach Cobbler. You mentioned Blythe , the last time I was there was in '79 visiting my dad just before he died. Btw at the 35 minute mark what kind of trees were they growing? I like your vid alot. Uber eats/doordash etc will deliver food to you as long as you have an address for it to deliver to. You can either select the address and just wait outside the building (truck stop, gas station etc) or put in notes of where you are in the truck stop and the drivers (for the most part) will have no problem delivering straight to your truck.

Hello Mike, In a past life I was responsible for 28 employees, who operated front-end loaders, forklifts, Volvo 180 / Cat 980 High-lift log unloaders, tandem dump trucks and 40 foot ram-eject trailers. Three of the 28 employees were women. Through actual experience, I can positively say that the women were by far, easier on the equipment than their male counterparts, while completing the same tasks. If I were in the same position today, I would not think twice about hiring a women in what was traditionally a man’s arena. Great videos by the way! I love seeing old routes I have driven in the past! Keep them coming!
