Rubber constricts after you shoot it, they even make rubber “self healing” targets for .22’s. So a .223/5.56 is not very effective for putting holes in tires, I would recommend stepping up in bullet diameter, it will still shrink though. I would personally try some 12gauge slugs, if you still plan on shooting holes in them.

A windmill powered or solar powered pond aerator will help with the oxygenation issue. Both are used in large koi ponds to keep the water from freezing. In southern states where the water gets really warm, people use them in stock ponds to keep them from getting stagnant. Decorative fountain sprayers on timers will help too.

shlaaa4 that's what we have always used for structure, you can get plenty of them for free at Christmas and you are helping to keep them from ending up in landfill. I also recommend cedar trees they are resistant to breaking down in water and will last for generations of fishing.

You can make some out of pvc like little trees for the bass to hang out. I'd take most of those tires out. For one most of them probably arent gonna be used by the fish and 2 it just seems like alot of stuff to get hung up on when fishing
