When I cleaned cats, I drove a ten penny nail through their head into a tie or power pole, take the knife and start at the fin on top and go towards the fins on the bottom, and leave it at that. Grip and rip with pinchers, then do your filet. Don’t keep the dark meat, that’s what gives the bad taste. Also, the first cat you caught would still be good eating, but ya just gotta soak it in milk or a salt water brine for a hot minute. And for one more tip, with handling them, hold them from their belly with your index finger going towards their mouth, and your thumb and other fingers right up to their fins, unless they’re bigger like the first... Just go through their mouth and gills. Digging the vids man, keep up the catfish stuff!
