Hey flair I have found out over the years that I have definitely had better luck at catching more kitties by taking the line with the hooks and don’t run them straight out like you guys are doing!!! Take them and run your line parallel with the bank!! You will have a much higher hookup ratio!! If you think about it a little it will definitely make sense for sure!!! Cats will come up and feed alongside the shore when you just run it straight out they have to be in that exact area to find the bait but when they run up and down the shore line to feed they don’t get as many chances at seeing all the bait options as they would if the line is parallel with the bank!! Definitely give that a try and I’m almost going to guarantee you that you will definitely catch more cats than you have been!!! I definitely got definitely pissed not catching many cats and having to do all the work to try and catch just two or three!!! The first time I ran my line parallel with the bank every hook had a kitty on them except for one!! That is no joke either!!! Ever since I always run them parallel with the bank instead of straight out!!! Good luck fellas!!! And what an awesome video buddy!!!

Oh one more tip Flair!!! I also always go get 150lb to 200lb swivels and put the swivels between the hooks and the main line to help when you do catch a catfish!!! Catfish can definitely roll hundreds of times to try and get free from being stuck!!! By using heavy duty swivels they will help almost 90% from getting any line twisted up and breaking off and the catfish from swimming away with a hook and a section of line hanging from there mouth!!! But remember that you definitely want to get some good heavy duty ones!! Get them from a sea fishing store where they have to use much heavier duty stuff for bigger ocean fish!!! Know for the main line I just buy my line from menards or Home Depot!! I think it’s rated at 150 lbs or 250lbs can’t remember Wright off hand but I’ve never had my main line break before either!! It definitely works for sure!!! And yes I do catch some monsters for sure!!! Also you definitely want to find a good heavy duty hook also so that you don’t end up with a bunch of straightened out hooks when you go checking your lines!! If you do all three of these things I promise you that you shouldn’t loose any fish at all unless they are somehow able to get them selves unhooked!!! They are definitely smarter than most think and also much stronger than a lot of people think for sure!!! I’ve definitely seen some crazy things that they have pulled on me and not ever even thinking twice of them even being able to what they had done!!! Well hopefully this helps you out some!!!
