You need to bleed those catfish when you catch them. That will improve the flavor and take out most of the red blood from the meat

The best bait is is beef heart, cube it up and keep it in the fridge until you go out to set the lines it will not fall off... and it’s best to keep all the fish you catch that are normal size because the circle hook will always go into its eye, the biggest we’ve got on a noodle is 27lbs and it couldn’t drag the railroad spike more than 10 yards

On our noodles we put a piece of PVC on the outside in the middle and we tie our weight line and hook line onto it and the weight is a railroad spike as a weight and it slides In the noodle whole for easy storage, wrap the weight line around one side and insert and wrap the hook line around the other and hook the hook into the noodle
