When I was a student we called your "flam triplet" a "flam accent". No biggie same difference I betting that the name has changed over the years. See... i geezin like the mutha. I lucky though been playing for 45 years and so glad to have been able to do that.

It stays with the same hand, it is the flam triplet or accent that swaps.

I like rL (flam) r, l because it’s basically a r,l,r,l pattern just slightly different in the beginning with the flam. Seems easier to me 🤷🏻
