Awesome! I always learn a thing or two in these series.

I have to say that I feel ashamed of myself every time you upload a video. I have been using 3d Studio since 1992 and I am still learning. I admit that I didn't know the show Dependencies, and I believe It will be better if I stop designing for a month and explore all 3DS Max features.

we're in the same boat bud, I keep discovering features that I should have known 25 years ago

Been using 3ds Max for 25 years Well I learned 2 life-saving features from this video 1- the space warp thing is so cool and can save a lot of time trying to achieving some parametric effects 2- the autoback name option!!! How could I never saw this before, so now if I'm having multiple 3ds max instances open, they won't override each others autobacks? No more opening an autoback of my living room I've working on only to find a pair of slippers I've been trying to merge into the scene 😂

YES, No more damn slippers in autoback! My issue exactly 🤣

The prepend feature is absolutely gold. Thanks!

The space warp could be usefull to mimic furniture legs dig into carpets :D Sometimes when i really wanna get fancy i activate soft selection and manually move some points, but it seems a better option.

Nice, thanks for these tips, always helpful even for someone like me who has been using the program for longer than I care to admit. Also, great job on covering your ‘purple’ slip up with ‘pink’. Ha ha

Hahaha damnit! I couldn’t stop myself by saying purple all the time

Artist post images with color checkers like X-rite in the render to just the colors and lighting like photographers do. No one anywhere shows how to do it in 3d max and I use Vray, but sure it would be similar any render engine.

Question how do you use a Colorchecker in 3d max to get lighting and color correct
@RenderRam4 ай бұрын
You mean in general how do I approach color/light accuracy?
