Flamingo Campground | Everglades National Park

In this video, we give a tour of Flamingo Campground, Everglades National Park and show the best campsites. Flamingo Campground is located on Florida Bay within Everglades National Park. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 10.4 Mbps download speed and 2.43 Mbps upload speed. Verizon cellular service was one bar LTE but a speed test failed due to poor connectivity. There was no T-Mobile cellular service at this location.

Lou, Thanks for the video! We are heading there in February. Question: Since I wasn't able to choose a site when booking, I'm assuming you just choose one when you arrive? Love al the video's you do, they come is very handy when choosing campgrounds!

The area on the side of the eco-tents are the tent campsites rather than picnic area. You’ll see the fire ring and picnic table for tent camping.

Oh wow! Great job on this video guys! Love that sunshiney day that you had when visiting the park. The visitor center was hit and taken out with which hurricane? My mom and dad, went to Florida the year after hurricane Andrew hit.(1993) I remember her saying how devastated it was, and totally unbelieable what the hurricane had done. The new visitor center they are building, looks really cool! The marina was nice looking. Did you go out ont the boat? Sorry Melody didnt get to see any Manatee. But the Crocodile, was awsome to see. So, Florida has both alligator and croc's? I remember walking on the boards in the everglades ...maybe back in..1965 ? We may have gone back a few yrs later, Im not sure. (we stopped traveling in the camper when I was bout, 16) (They took us all over the USA !) Loved all my trips to Florida ! Wow, Cool nest ! Those are Osprey's, up in there, looks like she had quite a few babies ! They, and Bald Eagles have very huge nests! I wonder how deep that water is, at the marina. Whoa, Huge crocodile! He was just "chillin" in the water. So cool ! Those Eco Tents were awsome looking. Im gonna find out how much they are. Oh...the white birds that you saw were, Egrets. I love shorebirds! 🤔 Now , do you suppose the crocodiles can get up on the pourches of those tents? 😮Just asking...🙄 Very nice campsites in the trailer loops! alot of space inbetween sites, and nice and clean looking, and the brush is cut back nicely too ! Restrooms were very nice also! This video is a favorite of mine too. Love seeing that aspect of the Florida, I, remember! Flamingo Campground is remotely located at the extreme southern portion of Everglades National Park. Still - it is worthy of a stay in the T Loop especially if camping in a large RV. We would like to stay here for more than a few days to soak in the area. Lou
