Awesome mods... I really like the gearing from the motor & the quick attach for the front. I have learned from mine that it really needs a fuel pump. that gravity feed just doesn't seem to provide enough fuel, especially when starting a cold engine. At least for me.
@IMPRIOR87
@IMPRIOR87 15 күн бұрын
Thanks. They do have a fuel pump that runs off of vacuum in the crankcase. Mine is hard to start too. I thought about removing the pump to see what happens. I have the same Rato 739 in a different machine and it always starts right up.

I get job site deliveries mostly light pallets . I was thinking of getting one of these . To unload trucks and run garbage . And general moving stuff outside the sites .it cheaper then renting a fork lift for short period of time

Fill the back bumper with cement to use as a counterweight when lifting things, you see other KZbinrs doing it with this machine seems to work well.

he should also liquid ballast all 4 tires as well since that will gain around 60-75 lbs per tire filled to 75% and will increase traction drastically

Just watched another video someone posted of this same loader - they found all of the grease zerks missing on the drive shaft and gear oil missing from the diffs so I'd check that for sure if you havent. They also put concrete in the back bumper to add weight.

Thanks for the suggestions Mine was missing the zerks in the loader, but had the ones in the driveshafts. It also came with oil in everything. I got some zerks for the loader and greased everything up.

Did you modify the throttle linkage or governor to reduce the engine RPM when the engine is Idling? The RPM’s are way to high when at idle. Separately, I made the three main modifications you highlight. For the speed reduction, my pulley sequence is : stock engine pulley, to a 7 inch shaft drive pulley to a 3 inch shaft drive pulley to the stock 9 inch pulley. I left both stock belts to run the hydraulic pump. I also chose two belts for the other pulleys and did not require an idler. Also, I did not weld any brackets, but simply bolted a plate under the engine mount to mount the front carrier bearing, the other carrier bearing mounted to an existing structure. I used a 1” keyed shaft. For the add-in hydraulics, I did not need a second hydraulic line; I simply mounted the new valve directly to the existing 2 spool valve with the pipe fittings. . I also purchased the fitting that was the equivalent to the one you welded. I also fabricated the quick attach to the frontside. Simply purchased the two quick attach pads and welded them to a 2x6 C channel. Thank you for bringing the modifications to my attention. I agree with you, the wheel loader was simply useless without the modifications. Also, it took me a while to get used to operating the unit at high RPM’s. Trying to operate it at low engine speed does not work .

Thanks for sharing your modifications, Glad I was able to help. the idle adjustment is under the air filter. remove cover and air filter, there's a rubber plug in the bottom part of the air box, remove and the idle screw is below. make shure to reinstall the plug, otherwise dust will get in. I set mine to 1,400 RPM with my tach gauge.

You did lots of upgrades to that thing. How much slower are the hydraulics now? I know others have talked about the quick connect but you did it. Just this morning saw someone load the imitation rear bumper with cement.

The hydraulics are quite a bit slower. Just the right speed now. I filled the rear bumper after this video with 120lbs of cement, and have 30lbs of cast iron back there bolted underneath.

What is the total estimated weight you added to the rear (cast iron weight, cement and water in rear tires)? I am thinking of adding at least five hundred pounds, possibly up to a thousand,,but not sure how much stress that will place on the articulating pivot point , when I am lifting a heavy load.

Mine also stalls with the steering, it's because there's no pressure relief in the system. Here's the link to the kit I got. YINTATECH 1/4" Skid Steer... www.amazon.com/dp/B0C14W26Z2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

@@IMPRIOR87 I saw a couple of these sell at the Tampa Royal Auction this past weekend. Thought about picking one up but I already have a Chinese mini ex and mini skid. Yeah. Some are better than others. I have a AGT LS15R Excavator and it's great, however I've bought and sold some other that aren't so good, same with the mini skids. I'm personally not a fan of them but some are better than others as well. There's so many variations of basically the same machine, hard to tell what it's like without buying it and trying it out.

Does your unit die when you turn the steering all the way left or right? On mine , if I turn to sharp it creates a hydraulic overload and kills the engine. Does your engine (assuming it is a 2 cylinder) take a bunch of cranks to start? I suspect my choke is not fully closing off the passage on startup. Not getting enough fuel. My forward reverse shift handle forces me to be fairly aggressive to get it in gear. No grinding noises, but sort of acts like the clutch is not fully engaged. Does yours shift smoothly or do you have to jam in in to work? If I simply swapped the 4 inch main pulley for a 2-3/4 inch one would it slow the unit down a bunch? Any chance , when time permits, that you could upload a video to demonstrate the operation of your unit now that you have modifed the speed?
@IMPRIOR87
@IMPRIOR87 2 ай бұрын
Mine stalls when the steering wheel is all the way left or right, as thare is no pressure relese valve. It starts hard too, after a day or so. kinda odd because I have other machines with the same engine and they always start right up. It shifts just like you said, and it's easy to get in two gears at the same time. if you downsized the engine pulley it'll go slower. you'll have to add some kind of a tensioner or a smaller belt.
@JohnSmith-h1f6l
@JohnSmith-h1f6l 2 ай бұрын
I will perform a bit of research concerning adding a pressure release valve. If I could get access to the top of the engine I am almost positive I could adjust the carb or choke assembly to allow for an immediate start.
@IMPRIOR87

I also got rid of the after fire solenoid on the carburetor, has two wires going to it. I just removed the spring and little plunger from it. It'll save problems in the future.

I like the hydraulic function of the loader but the little gearbox and clutch setup is so crappy. if it was all hydrostatic and came with a quick attach plate and auxiliary hook up i think they'd get 9000-13000 out of them versus the 3000-4000 they get at auction.
