I really like the Renegades and their reactions but man I can’t stand how petty they are over them misinterpreting DB’s explanation for Popeye winning. Anytime a character has some wacky powers they refer to “cartoon bullshit”, Archie Sonic isn’t even a cartoon character. It was just a fight of comic BS vs comic BS.

It's because Archie Sonic isn't really a "toon" or at least he's not in the same league as someone like Popeye or Bugs Bunny. Don't let the art style fool you. All his feats, while immense, are still somehow able to be understood and calculated. But some of the things Popeye could do are beyond logic.

Funny, as people can then also say that _Sonic beat Sonic,_ 'cuz Flash stole his speed just so he could keep pace with him... Which is the equivalent of starting a competitive set by announcing "EVEN IF THEY WIN, I STILL WIN OVERALL."

Anyway, I recommend checking out the IDW Sonic Comics, they have been pretty interesting in their own right, if you’re up for it of course.

Because despite the newer ultra cool death battles like Scarlet Witch vs Zatanna, Raven vs Phoenix, Bill Cipher vs Discord or Frieza vs Megatron that's still one of the best and mind-blowing battles of all time. Having seen this before, I knew you two were gonna be pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Plus, I enjoy watching your reactions to Death Battle, so it's a win either way. God I fuckin hate this episode, they butcher Sonic and downplay him to hell, Sonic should have won, because if you actually do proper research and don't just nitpick shit out of context, Flesh has a limit to speed, a limit to acceleration, whereas Sonic's speed is beyond infinite in every way, not to mention they're using a composite version of an incredibly inconsistent character who has been around for much longer than Sonic, personally I would've been so much more happy with just having it be a draw rather than them downplaying the hell out of Sonic and giving him the shaft, Death Battle is so terribly wrong so damn often, they do shit research, they don't put in the necessary time, and they constantly rig the match to suit their own wants and desires

Wally, with context, barely ever gets to infinite speed, whereas Sonic, at least this Super, casually breaks the very physics of speed itself, he is beyond infinite speed and works on at least a 6D level, Wally may derive his power from an infinite dimensional force, but he can barely handle doing 4D stuff, Sonic might lose in base, but Super Sonic one shots Wally, and Ultra Sonic isn't even fair@@ningenslayer6306
