Grew up with Bob and Tom as a kid in the early 90s when riding around in the car with my dad. Their voices and distinct laughs bring back a world of memories. B&T on Q95 forever.

When I read this I thought I wrote it myself. My best memories of my Dad are him taking me to school in the mornings and us laughing so hard at B & T. I’m not sure if I was laughing at the show or laughing at him laughing so hard. I’ll never forget the deer stuck in the car or “bambalance”. Great times

@Paintballpro183 жыл бұрын
So true. Any comic today HAS to make fun of themselves and if not, potentially risk their job because they might offend someone, or someone might get offended on behalf of the party that comic is making fun of. It's why Jerry stopped a couple years back, because he didn't want to ruin his image with how quickly comedy was being attacked with these "I'm offended" or "Cancel him because of _____"

15:20 Chick McGee was amazingly quick in adapting the Ford dealer commercial to different sound effects. Hilarious and entertaining all the way through a commercial. I wonder if the Ford dealer was pleased? I lived in Indy from '80 to '85 and listened to Q95 every morning on the way to work and every evening on the way from work. The station would replay good bits from the morning show during afternoon drive time. I couldn't believe what they were doing. Then I listened to them from '90 to '95 when I was living in Columbus. Their show had become much more produced by then and they were getting more guests of national prominence. Heywood Banks was probably their most frequent guest. My favorite bit from Bob & Tom is Shirtless Girl. Look it up.

They were tolerable in the 80s with the occasional funny skit. The important thing is they actually played rock n roll in the mornings. It might have been only 3 or 4 songs an hour, but it wasn't all talk and skits. When they started syndication in the 90s, all rock music was abolished and I couldn't handle the talk anymore.
