Way better back then, great action👍 When they have conditions like this these days, they would do 30 odd laps behind the safety car and then a 1 lap dash due to a time certain race. Whoops, jumped the gun, this was a time certain race. Shame the majority went to pay TV too🤷‍♂️

This generation, and this season was a great season for mid modern V8s, they sound so much better, the racing was 100x better the support races were better. Everything was better

1:29 when skaife said “there’s Bargwanna” it reminded me of the Bathurst when coulthard crashed and skaife said “THAT WAS BARGWANNA, THAT WAS BARGWANNA”

Crompton said 'That's Bargwanna' in the 2010 Bathurst first lap crash, not Skaife. Skaife couldn't have been commentating as he was in the race and also won it with Lowndes.

I don't think any races could be as dramatic as Bathurst 1992 or Sydney/Homebush 2010 For the record, this is in my opinion, feel free to add any others you think of when you think heavy wet races
