Repco Supercars Championship is going down the same road to irrelevancy as NASCAR is. Every year the cars get further removed from the touring cars we see in our dealer showrooms. Holden versus Ford - when neither car is even made in Australia anymore. The appeal to the non-gearhead fan gets diminished every year- why NASCAR attendance is tanking in the US. Sadly the Golden Age of racing "stock" cars is gone forever.
