@@aryan7767 First of all, those were not common crooks. Batman was dealing with sex traffickers and heavily armed mercenaries. Second, this Batman does not pursue criminals with the intention of killing them. He's just so fed up with current state of Gotham and the paradigm shift caused by Superman's presence that he just doesn't care about what happens to them. As far as he's concerned, he's just saving his own skin while acquiring the means to fight for the "greater good". Superman is the only case where he makes a predetermined choice to commit a murder when his victim isn't even guilty of anything yet.

The question that Snyder’s dc movies ask is why would someone like Clark Kent want to protect the world? Especially if it hated him only because he was different. Overall at the end of both films he still saves the world so clearly he’s gonna protect it no matter what but overall it shows how good of a person this version of Superman is I mean cmon almost every scene he has w his mom or Lois is great, he’s not dark he’s just very emotional and doesn’t understand his place in the world just yet and you have to remember the person he’s lashing out at is Lex Luthor someone he has literally fought in comic books for the last 80 yrs.

In the age of the internet, which was made to destroy, people didn’t have as much capacity to like a movie that takes its mythology seriously. Everything has to be watered down to a joke of some sort. Ironically the movie is about how we tear down glorify and then tear down heroes. So the movie is about it’s very critics. Thank God there’s still smart ones out there who appreciate this work of art

BVS is not a good film. It’s not even a masterpiece as Snyder cultists praise. Even with the Ultimate Edition, it’s still sucks as fleshing out these characters, rushing to catch up to the MCU with its Justice League cameos, assassinating one of Batman’s characteristics is to never kill and he does it anyway with no justification, and don’t even start with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex. God was he annoying and his motives make absolutely no sense.

Everything else such as Wonder Woman or Aquaman were supposed to just be "fillers". Basically DCAEU format but live action. And lmao, Lex Luthor spells out his motives multiple times in the film. He hates Superman for everything he represents. Also, Batman has killed, many many times, in the Comics and films.
