Zack Snyder has already teased the idea that Ryan Reynolds is going to return as Hal in his cut of Justice League, so, you may be right on about what could potentially be possible. Also, I agree with you, this movie was and still is a lot of fun, and I would love to see Reynolds come back. My only complaint is the designers should do some work on the suits, make them less skin tight and more like they’re wearing actual suits.

Honestly? I’ve always loved the live action take on Hal’s suit. I don’t know if it is comic-accurate or not, but I know the general idea of what Green Lantern is supposed to look like. To make a suit that just looks so ‘alive’ with cosmic energy. All from the center of it’s insignia, with the little lines that channel this energy throughout the entire suite. While not amazing, the CGI was pretty great to me. Pretty awesome for a movie in 2011. But imagine what the suit would look like in a reboot with the animation capabilities we have today? God that would be amazing.

Never fully understood the hate for the suit. The CGI hasn't aged well, but the concept is solid. They'd have perhaps been better off using some real-world costume base and applying CGI to that, like they've done with Iron Man or Superman. Hal Jorgan (Green Lantern) & any heroes who wear domino (or painted) masks only conceals their eyes & eyebrows but not their hairs, ears, noses & facial features. Their friends & families (even their enemies) would easily recognize them at a close range, like how Carol easily deduce Hal's identity by his cheek bones, despite speaking in a different voice. Even body heights & shapes are (difficulty or possibly) recognizable.

Looking back at it now, I will cut the cg costume some slack. I think this was one of the first comic book movies to use 100% cg costume with motion capture (I believe Iron Man 1 & 2 used a mix of practical and cg). So naturally it’ll look rough. Fast forward to today, cg costumes have gotten better and more prevalent. However I still hold firm that the costume should’ve been practical. At least with Iron Man it makes sense considering a full practical costume of the armor would’ve limited mobility for RDJ and the stuntmen during action scenes. I also think it would’ve been cheaper too.

Hal Jordan's sector (which includes, obviously, Earth) is Sector 2814, so Tomar-Re, Green Lantern of Sector 2813, is effectively Hal's next-door neighbor (by Green Lantern Corps standards of "next-door"). Makes sense that he'd be the one chosen to welcome Hal. There are also Green Lanterns that would be a lot weirder for Hal to grasp than a "talking fish". In the comics, there's: 1. Dkrtzy RRR. a Green Lantern who's a sentient mathematical equation that mathematically proves the existence of free will (I kid you not), 2. Leezle Pon, a sentient hive mind composed of millions of viruses, who handles cases that are literally too small for other Lanterns to handle. 3. Rot Lop Fan, a Green Lantern from a sector that is devoid of stars, where all the races are blind. He believes he's a member of the F-Sharp Bell Corps (because will is associated with a pure f sharp tone in his culture, and they have no words or concepts for Green or Lantern). 4. Olapet, a sentient plant that passes her ring on to her seedling when she dies, who possesses the memory of her and all her ancestors. The current Olapet is the 23rd consecutive Olapet to bear the ring, over tens of thousands of years. 5. Mogo, the "least social" Green Lantern. Mogo doesn't attend meetings on Oa, because he'd destroy its biosphere. Mogo is a living planet. His Green Lantern uniform is comprised of him changing the arrangement of the equatorial forest that covers (and is part of) him into the image of a planet-sized Green Lantern ring. If a Green Lantern dies without being able to pass on their ring, Mogo gathers it up until a successor can be found (that's seen in the ancient war against Darkseid scene in Justice League -- the ring lifts off from the dead Green Lantern's finger, zips around a little bit looking for a worthy bearer, and then Mogo (off-screen) calls it home before Darkseid can grab it.). He can communicate, though, as he can project ring fascimiles (tiny Mojos or humanoids if he thinks a tiny floating planet would freak someone out) and speak and hear through them at virtually unlimited distances. He usually doesn't, though. He really isn't all that social.

Even though I liked the movie, they should've stuck with Berlanti's script because this one sorta went the way of the Fantastic Four 2.. mostly because of the space cloud boss, and why didnt anybody else think of killing him in the sun? lol They could've just got away with making the movie using the scientist Hector Hammond as the villain of the first movie, still setting up the Sinestro Corps for the second, with the threat of Parallax looming over the trillogy. I also prefer the way Supergirl went with the DEO, if they had the hindsight of that, they could've had Hank Henshaw (J'onn J'onzz) as the boss, they could've still introduced Waller though, Aquaman was cast around this time too.

Yeah the sub-plot with Hammond feels wasted. Plus, Parallax is meant to be a supreme cosmic entity formed from the emotion of fear; not something you can exactly kill. The idea is as silly as if Iron Man had killed Thanos in his 2008 first movie.

If Green Lantern was good the squeal Green Lantern 2 will be in 2013 already really shame for this movie , and now people still think Green Lantern is a joke will I still enjoy Green Lantern Actors did a amazing acting expect looking at screen . But the movie will be much better if show more Sinestro my favorite Green Lantern villains , but I did like the ending scene of Sinestro become Yellow Lantern I will remember the RIP squeal .
