This is the only scene where the Joker seems scared. He’s not scared of dying in general he’s just doesn’t want to get shot by a random henchman that got lucky before he leaves his mark on the world
@V1nce_man2 ай бұрын
I don’t think so, Joker knew this would probably happen and so planned for the ‘bus driver’ to come in. By the point in time the driver said ‘he’s not getting back up is he?’ He likely told the dude in advance “drive through the entrance, and hit this guy.”
@DillsyYourDaddy672 ай бұрын
@@V1nce_manI don’t think so. Driver asks where everyone is so it’s clear he had no idea that everyone was supposed to die. It was a super risky plan and he got very lucky with the manager killing one guy and the driver accidentally knocking over the other. All it would’ve taken was the bag guy to stand in a different spot or the manager to not try to kill anyone and jokers plan would be done.

It took me forever to figure out how genius this plan was. He eliminated the rest of the crew, meaning he wouldn't have to worry about getting snitched on. He took care of the head guy, meaning he would be useless to the mob. He definitely made the mob aware of his presence. Blended in so perfectly that the cops would never even question him. And because he was basically unknown (at this point in the movie) Batman basically let's him get away with it by saying he is more interested in the mob. Jokers first move was big and he basically got away with it to fund the rest of his plans. And biggest of all: this is what started the mob to be desperate to need his help. 1:30 RIP John Dunnhier. The greatest alarm disabler in history. A man so good he didn't even need to say everything was okay, he just needed to say: "I'm Dunnhier" and everyone would know it was taken care of. I'll send flowers to Mrs Dunnhier and set up a trust fund for little Jimmy Dunnhier.

I just can’t explain how satisfying it is to watch him expertly pull off his heist to perfection, exactly the outcome he wanted too, which is just style points really at that point lol. But the the joker got Batman’s attention almost immediately after this.

@@laphonz Well, it is not, thus if someone freaks out and throws it at them, they are done. Or one panics. Then panics spreads like flood and everybody throws it in their direction - you chances to survive rain of the nades? Or - if just one next to you fails to hold it out of the fear and shock? It is not well planned heist, too many things could go wrong, stupid grenade idea, man with shotgun unaccounted for, guys realizing that if they were told to shoot the other one, someone else might have been told the same for them ... Quite thick plot armor.
