For all those wondering why this wasn't in the film, the theatrical release was edited down but they DID in fact film the entire re-enactment of the entire Live Aid gig. It's on the extra features of the Blu Ray. When I watch the movie at home, at the end of the rehearsal scene when Freddie tells the band he has AIDS, I switch over to the special features and run the complete Live Aid gig, then when it's done, switch back to the end of the released film. If you know what you're doing on your bluray player it's actually pretty seamless.

I don't know if you've ever seen the TV show 7th Heaven, but in the last year it was on, the kid that played T-Bone was in one of the Jurassic Park movies too-the one where they ended up in San Diego. He was the kid that told his parents "There's a dinosaur in our backyard." Crazy!
