Hi! Use the lasso tool. Hotkey is Q. Watch precisely, I did my best to explain. Outline, then delete with the lasso or selection tool (press ‘delete’ button on your keyboard after selection; after this divide and color. Let me know if you’ve passed your struggle, my friend. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial! Could you also create a tutorial for the complex characters (with patterns and texture on outfits and overlapping parts of the hand and clothes over the body) and how to draw them in order to use in After effects? I found it very challenging when I want to draw a character with a complex detail for example: overlapping only one or two parts of the same hands over the body. and you need to keep them separate in order to make them moving in AE.? I watch many of your videos that shoes even complex characters but I think it is not made for use in AE right? Thank you again

Thank you for a request. All this stuff is not for Ae, but it can be adapted. You have many questions and I can recommend you practice more, learn to draw (digital and pencil) and watch all such videos, because questions will remain questions if you won’t dig into it really hard. Practice 😉👍
