Why mine doesn't look like grains but like big pixels, I don't know what I did wrong 😭 I didi it once for a project and it worked, but now it's not working anyone knows why?

Hello T&T Tutorial I am a beginner at illustration and after hopelessly sifting through hundreds of KZbin video out there, I stumbled upon your channel. I watched each of your videos for like ten times. Over a period of one month or so, I got all the basics clear and now I am confidently making illustrations like the one in this video. I can't thank you enough for your videos. I only have one question - Why did you stop making the videos. Your most recent video was 2 years ago. You have no idea how much you are helping budding illustrators like myself. Please come back, we need you😊

I can't upload a grainy gradient background on the Shutterstock website because it shows the message, 'Your vector contains either pixel-based bitmap objects or raster effects.' How can I fix this?

THANK YOU SOMUCH for the video sir 🙏 For the viewers who came back to refer for basic steps : 1 make dark/light coloured copy of the object 2 give the top object a Mask and reverse the masking (Unchekc CLIP) 3 make masking shape to it and give it b/w gradient 4 apply GRAIN (Effects > textures > Grain) with Grain type: STIPPELED and pereferd values. 5 get out of the mask mode. (ALTERNATE TRICKS with little different output): alt1 : give gradient to top object with color to transparent, then apply Grain : regular directly to the object copy. alt2 : give gradient to top object with color to transparent, the apply Grain : Difuse glow directly to the object copy.

This is really game changer due to illustrator work with vectors, also when using SCATTER brushes, they tend to use vectors to draw lines. Which increases the processing of your computer. Adding masks and layers it is a really smart solution to this problem

I do wonder, does it really help makijg all these iverlaps. If you have smart guides ON. It should highlight when you hit a line. This clean up orocess you showed can be quite tedious
@RomboutVersluijs3 ай бұрын
wince you showed shape builder tool. You can also use live paint to clean the 8mage. Yet, 8 do worn people. This tiol can make quite a mess if your not oaying attention. But it fast cleanijg all those overlappijg small edges
@RomboutVersluijs3 ай бұрын
Its better idea to dont use double shapes for when clippijg. Use the original dhape and make that the clipping path, than adda background color to the clipping path. Because when you want to change its form. You niw have to do it twice when using your method. You can also 7se the draw inside tool for fasyer workflow
@RomboutVersluijs3 ай бұрын
My laptop doesnt really like this using 300dpi in raster effects.
@RomboutVersluijs3 ай бұрын
Doesmt RIP software go bonkers on these files. I guess you need to rasterize this for print or is RIP software okay with this in vector format?
