My money's on Newton & Einstein. All objects over a certain mass are spherical due to pressure exerted on the core material. The stars and planets are spherical for this reason whereas asteroids are not. The discovery of Neptune mathematically before it was observed and the bending of light by the Sun provide strong evidence for our current understanding of gravitation. One can not manipulate the natural laws in the same way one can manipulate human behaviour & thought. Fun to speculate on these matters though 👍

Earth cannot be a circle. A circle is two dimensional. A disc *resembles* a circle from directly above (or below, although flat Earthers are very quiet regarding the underside). A sphere resembles a circle from any direction. Either way, religious text is unverifiable in origin, has been translated, retranslated and mistranslated numerous times and is subject to wildly differing interpretation. It's value as a reliable source of real world information is zero.

I loved 'Flat Earth', for it made me realise how little I knew. I came to conclusion that we live in a magical realm. It is very odd that the Moon and Sun are the same size in the sky. It is unexplained how the Moon came to orbit the Earth in an almost perfect circle. Regarding Hollow Earth. It makes sense when you think of vortexes. Water down a drain. It's easy to prove flat earth. Actually we live in one of many craters on the bigger earth. Method. Take a p900 camera to the seashore, locate the furthest ship, note it's name. Open your phone and identify the ships location on the live shipping app and note the distance from you. Open the earth curvature calculator and note the curve at the distance the ship is away. You will find that you shouldn't be able to see the ship.

Here is your answer. Take a p900 camera to the seashore set it up on a tripod, locate the farthest ship you can. Note it's name. Get your phone out , download 2 apps. The live worldwide shipping app and the earth curvature calculator. Then work out the distance you are from the ship. Go to the curvature calculator and discover that you shouldn't be able to see the ship. Someone is lying .

Not sure what pictures are being looked at but I can definately see a curvature even from hobbyist balloons that are launched. I would be asking why you can't launch your own balloon and take photos and verify for yourself, it is easy enough to do, and in theory if it is a flat earth you should be able to see the whole world. If not a flat earth then you shouldn't. This doesn't seem too hard to prove. There are other things that you can do basic experiements to prove the concepts that relate to the bigger picture where as I haven't ever been given the same principals to apply to arguements around the flat earth. If the flat earth is correct it changes a lot of the mathematics around gravity, electricity, magnetism which I can accept could be wrong if proven but non of them come back with counter mathematics that explain the real world or fit with things we use everyday. To me while it is hard to repeat the experiments and proof of what is right, logic and mathematics can certainly help rule out what isn't right.

FE is a really clever psyop. It has so many plausible aspects. In many locations, you can see much further than you should be able to, yet in most others you can't. Pilots have told me that flying over flat areas, the autopilot is constantly pitching the nose down to maintain a constant height. FE's greatest contibution though is in adding to public confusion. Mention it to most people, and they feel despair and hopelessness. Just how they like you to. My bet is it's not a flat earth, and many assuptions that those who do draw on to believe it is flat are themselves half truths.

Doug, referring to believing what you can see yourself, regarding Flat Earth theory; I have a degree in navigation and have physically sailed completely around the world on ships for over 30 years. I have an unlimited Master's license for all oceans, and doing celestial navigation problems required using SPHERICAL trigonometry. Our charts were all projections based on flattening out a SPHERE. The formula for the distance to the horizon in nautical miles is 1.17 X Square root of Height Above the Sea. I watched thousands of targets on the sea "rise up" and be in full view at the calculated distance. All sailors know this. My dad , worked for NASA on the Apollo program in the 60s. I believe the earth is spherical. I will be perfectly glad to find out I was wrong when that time comes though, but I doubt it. Every experienced sailor knows that the earth is round.
