Looks like CSS-code...🤔

Interesting! As others have said here, that's CSS you're seeing. CSS is a language which is used to style HTML pages (not actually a programming language itself). I'm guessing the TV's menu system is built in HTML, and it's having an issue properly rendering the page, thus leading to a big CSS dump.

It does indeed mention "menu" in few places in the code. A very interesting and bizarre fault.

I remember this from years gone by, Panasonic released a software update for it, I can't remember the exact detail but it was triggered by a change in the Freeview EPG. I bet that set hasn't been connected to the internet in years! (I'm talking about the text on screen not the other issues). I seem to remember it affected some of their Freeview recorders too.

I've never heard of a software map before, but that looks a lot like the coding of some programme or a configuration file running in the background.

Nothing like it but it reminds me of a fault on the Salora set we briefly trialled... it had a channel name indicator that, with the tuning drawer closed, should have disappeared after 5 seconds. It didn't, for the entire time we had the set (1 week).

How weird! 🥴 I was going to suggest that it looks a bit like html code as I do a lot with websites. Most interesting, I have no idea why you would have html in a tv? 😜
