idk, can only speak for myself I guess, but honestly... you get used to it a little. I try to just focus on enjoying myself as much as I can, and try to avoid getting mad over wins or losses and more on getting mad at myself for mistakes I know I made on Doomfist. Generally good advice for everyone I guess, but Doom specifically I think you kinda need that mindset to survive without losing your mind. Like it's still annoying, but it evens out I guess. When your team doesn't disappoint, your job is so fun and easy as Doom, that it helps me not lose my mind when that isn't the case - and I mean, it is nice feeling like you always have some control of the game as Doom, when someone like a Rein or even Orisa can't say the same. The cost is just when you have control, but it's a losing battle, it is gonna be stressful. It only drives me mad if after all that, the people going negative try to flame me for their own mistakes. Playing dive tanks really taught me how true the addage that only the worst players flame and blame their team is. Without fail, if someone tries to flame me, it'll always be the DPS who's like 4 and 11 while everyone else has no problem staying positive. The other DPS who at least has a positive KD never talks shit. The Supports cranking out the good heals never talk shit. It is always the worst player on the team without fail who complains.

I feel you. I had 8 losses in a row today jn ranked. When you walk away with the highest kills, heals and the least deaths as a support over the rest of your team. 3 of those games I had a dps going 4 and 12, a support that healed 3k when I healed 23k, I had a roadhog go 3 and 11, another tank playing rein who just kept diving in 1 v 5 getting rolled multiple times and then cried about no heals. Todays ranked has been awful.

The craziest part when you see more of his POV is they actually ONLY shoot him when he blocks... There's like a 10sec sequence that got me hitting my head on my desk at the end of 3rd. The guy was either in front or in the middle of Ruben's team the whole time, he whiffed literally every ability, at some point he even just turns his back to them and the only time he got shot was when he blocked... At this point I think Ruben's team were actually mega brain geniuses and their plan was not only to win the game, but to make doomfist like he's having the game of the century while losing to completely crush him mentally... that's the only explanation I got

I've had a long game too where my team was feeding doom's punch the whole game. I told them in chat but nobody cared, they just kept stacking together and shooting doom's block, even across the map sometimes. The doom had like 32k damage and the game went for 30min with a juicy reversal in the end.

You don't need to carry to win you just have to play on average consistently better than the enemy team and you will climb. The doom did well if he can play that well in all his games he'll consistently win more games than he loses

Yeah as someone who is usually in these types of situations, yes even at low ranks, unfortunately with someone who can bust out that many kills, someone is going to be the brunt of those kills and have the most out of the entire team, and against something like that it would be almost impossible not to die a lot lol

Games happen like this so much especially in metal ranks. You could be dominating the lobby but it is either a close game or you lose and then you have dps getting a negative KDR who thinks he is playing well. For OW2 you genuinely need a 4 or 5 stack because having 1 person feeding can lose you the game. The number 1 tip I would give anyone is position yourself in a way so you don't die, but sadly the game has just come down to being a team deathmatch game.
