as an american growing up in west virginia, i'd never been graced by the succulent queso fresco until a couple of years ago. i'd started getting closer to my friend who's family was from mexico. every time i came over to their house, his mom would cook such delicious meals with ingredients my white trash ass didn't even know existed. so it's his 18th birthday and his whole family is there. me, him and our friends had smoked to celebrate the occasion. when we went downstairs, i could smell meat and veggies being grilled on the patio, soup boiling in the kitchen. it was awesome because the munchies kicked in right when the food was all done. we had corn with lime mayo, some spices, and queso fresco on it and it's to this day, the most delicious thing i've ever eaten. the mixture of the ingredients, the atmosphere of the party, the munchies, made for the most immaculate vibes.

if you want a good knife for like $100-$200, check out the rui knife called the Lapis Lazuli from Ray The Sharpener. he made a knife with a 80/20 bevel that pushes whatever your cutting away. You know how cucumbers cling onto your knife as you slice them? well they wont stick anymore. also, the knife is sharp as hell. I held a watter bottle over the blade horizontally and dropped it and it cut it in half cleanly.
