I will say, one thing that 6v6 had going for it, is that it worked better for tank balancing. Because you typically had your main tank and then you had an off-tank and because there were these two distinct tank roles, different tank kits could compliment each other. It also meant: 1: Supports were less dependent on having their own built-in survivability because you could have an off-tank going back to protect the backline. 2: Tanks like Roadhog who simply didn't do as much for their team were less of a viability because you weren't sacrificing your only tank slot for a fat dps. Of course, there were sometimes still unpleasant meta comps, but at least if you had one tank who didn't know what they're doing, there was always another one.

Regarding the Orisa take, I actually agree with Flats, she is pretty much fine from a balance standpoint. She isn't broken in any way, if you are smart you can even find success with what she counters. That is not the issue I have with the horse from hell. Orisa, especially when played with the unga bunga run at the tank mindset, makes the game feel horrible to play. I tend to compare it to trying to pull a cactus out of your ass as that is roughly the amount of enjoyment get when I have when playing against Orisa. I don't have a problem with her balance, I have a problem with her design and in my personal opinion, it is just a poorly thought up design that needs to be reworked into something else.

I must say that I think the Orisa meta hit far harder on console than pc as console has far less comms even when at high level and I feel that there is a larger disconnect between the player base and patch notes/active metas. And if you think I don’t know what I’m talking about I one tricked Orisa from masters 5 to gm1 when she was originally buffed.

This where I gotta disagree with you there flats. These support nerfs don’t mean anything. Increasing Nade by 1 or 2 seconds doesn’t fix the fact it’s a broken ability. Increasing life grip by 1 second isn’t a nerf, bap needs damage nerfs and his lamp need more hp nerfs, zen needs health nerfs and discord needs to either be reworked or reduced the debuff. Buff Moria she sucks, fix brigs shield hitboxes in rally, Illari still hits way too hard. Supports should be supports and not be able to contest dps in damage, nor should they have hard cc, also kiriko suzu needs to either give damage immunity or cc immunity, supports have so many get out of jail free cards for them and their team. Meanwhile if tank makes 1 error they explode.

Ngl, just changing his ult to be that wide area ground slam might be a lot more fun. It would basically be 1 to 1 with his origin story animation, when he knocks Genji into the air. Maybe they can make it like a Ball slam, just much wider area and causing more knock-up, with a more severe slowing effect than current meteor strike. As it currently stands, meteor strike is only good for mobility and assassinating inattentive enemies, but other than that it's just a worse version of Bastion's ultimate.

@@BlooBoi23 I’m not sure where I am, tbh. I have a group of friends I play with regularly and a good number of them are Plat/Diamond, I take advice and look for coaching opportunities when I can. I know from being told and from looking at my own gameplay critically that positioning and recklessness are two very big issues that I have. It’s very frustrating to be told constantly that I could hit Gold. When I was in B5, my friend (Plat) who looked at my vod told me that I didn’t belong there. He thought I was B1. I’m not egotistical enough to think I could play alongside grandmaster players, nor do I think I’m ready for Plat. Hell, the only characters I really have ego on are my mains, and since I’m still basically a one-trick, my ego on my second main is still building, and even then, I only think I deserve high Silver-low Gold on my main role (Support). The only reason I said anything at all is because it was surprising to me that I had to learn hours and hours of positioning and tech just to claw my way out of B5, and yet I still end up with people in my games who make these mistakes again and again and again, and I don’t feel like I’m making enough of an impact to help us win. I’m sure everyone has been there, no matter what your role.
