Nina Bé the thing about the Florida shooting is it was preventable. Our so called protectors, the authorities, did nothing to stop it. They received multiple reports and FULL BLOWN evidence of the shooter acting out with a gun. He was also being bullied, mentally ill, and he was going through a lot. Not to mention the fact that apparently the officer on duty at the school ran away during the shooting.

That being said, guns should not be banned from the U.S. What I say is we need better background checks. I mean sure lots of people lose their life to guns every year in the U.S which is terrible. But as the second amendment states we have the right to bare arms when necessary. So believe it or not more lives are saved through guns than there are people dying from them.
