O K Right and damage our adrenals, deprive ourself of fiber, polyphenols, phytonutrients, Vitamin C, and glycogen which are brain runs almost exclusively on (fat can be turned into glycogen but it’s at a dramatically reduced rate and at a lesser quality) Saturated animal fat lowers test Dairy contains dozens of hormones and is one of the most estrogenic foods Animals as food is the only known source of dietary cholesterol, eating only it will give you heart disease and probably kill you in a few years Any short term benefits are mostly due to new found ketosis (natural starvation function, you don’t want to be in ketosis) and lost water weight due to lack of carbohydrates I can keep going, but I’m sure you can as well, anti science man. Why recommend someone a fad anti science diet that would kill her husband through atherosclerosis? Plants contain every. Single. Thing. That animal products due (minus the bad things like mammalian estrogen and hormones, and cholesterol) Meat does NOT. Contain everything that plants contains, fiber, Vit C, polyphenols and phytonutrients They’ve just discovered naturally occurring b12 in duckweed aka water lentils, so you can’t use the boring drag B12argument, unless you eat wild game every single day, you should supplement B12 You have no power here anti science man

@jmchipka23 well that's because if your not Bobby then Bobby's diet is not going to be good for you but what I like about him is for the most part he doesnt trash anybody . If he likes something he will point out why and if something is really bad . He has very good reasons why its killing us and sometimes 6 months to a years later . Boom! They changed the ingredients . What do you know ? All our bodies are different so we cant be on the same diet . I find he tries to be non bias with the information . I am gluten and dairy free and alot of my symptoms went away but not all of them . A dietitian doesn't have enough time for me to figure this all out . I have a feeling paloe will work for me a and maybe grass fed meat . So I need a diet specific to my body . It the end of the day it's all trial and error . So much to learn but I am truly greatful for Bobby . I was hopeless and now I'm slowly getting better and I have hope and I feel like I have a friend who really understands me and the way my body works . Also I love Rose shes so cute and I love seeing her it makes me so happy !! And Dessy too .

when i lived in Calgary, the farms outside of the city would sell pasture raised grass fed beef, goat, pork, lama, etc. we don't eat pork but it was available. we would usually buy goats whole and if you have the space you can buy a cow. and some of the wholesale farms sold by the animal. which was way cheaper but you do your own processing such as skin removal, organ removal, etc.

I try to eat clean when I can, but most often that's just not possible on my disability check budget. I wish you'd do a video of a severe food budget, I mean I'm talking about like $30 a week for everything, breakfast/lunch/supper, everything included like from the ground up starting with oils, flour, salt, all the way up to whole meals (don't forget drinks like tea, coffee, etc.). I live in a highly rural area and the nearest Trader Joe and Costco and Sam's Club is over an hour and a half away, so unless I shopped online there, those places would be out. Walmart, Kroger, and Aldi are really the only places for me to shop at unless you count some of the Dollar General stores that are starting to carry some groceries. I did pick up some Sir Kensington mustard and ketchup that Kroger had on manager special.
@stephaniespriggs40814 жыл бұрын
Rebekah Spears he did a video like that and couldn’t make the budget... I don’t feel like he really cares about his audience on a budget. A lot of the stuff he recommends is crazy expensive.
@Purrpurrbun4 жыл бұрын
That’s tough! I feel like stuff like this is a luxury, due to the price point. If I were you I would stick to eating fruits and veg in season, and eggs for protein. I’m actually working on indoor vegetable garden. I a lot of the plant based foods you get, you can sprout the seeds. You can use the sprouts to plant with, or eat them, as sprouted seeds have a lot nutritional value. I just washed some squash seeds, and germinated them. If you can’t buy this pre-packaged, you should still be able to eat fresh veg and fruits. Nuts and seeds (pumpkin seeds) have a lot of protein. You can try mixing that some yogurt. If you can’t afford organic milk, ordinary milk still has some nutritional value. I would try to eat Balkan yogurt. Sprouted bread is pretty expensive, but it’s worth the cost. You can sometimes buy it on sale. I hope that helps a bit. Good luck! Also, stay away from any oils that aren’t expeller pressed. Extra virgin olive can be bought on sale for the cheap!

Hi Bobby, and friends! I was just told I’m pre-diabetic. I know with some changes, it can be reversed. What are some things I can eat for dinner that won’t spike my blood sugar?
@GlamAngel243 жыл бұрын
Hi I want to help you with your question. 1st you need to know (if you dont) is what is the difference between a protein, a carb, and a fat? A protein is a building block for amino acids that your body needs to maintain and repair. You get protein from eating animal products, dairy sources, nuts and plants such as lentils. Carbohydrates are sugars. They can be complex or simple. You get these from plants and non animal products like flour, pasta, bread, cookies, and oats. Fats are made of long chains of carbon and hydrogens that provide cushioning for your vital organs. Fats can be good or bad. They can come from animals or plants examples: pork fat, and olive oil. Fats can be saturated or unsaturated. Saturated fats usually come from animal sources, but sometimes come from nuts or plants: think vegetable oil or corn oil. Unsaturated fats would be olive oil, grapseed oil, avocado oil. It's important you know what carbs are because that is the macronutrient you need to reduce in your diet. Carbs will be in almost any processed food, in plants and grains. However, you need to make sure your carbs are coming from mostly plants and only whole wheat or whole grain bread, pasta, brown rice. You also need to know about the glycemic index and that you should focus on eating foods below 55 in glycemic load. There are lots of lists online for this. Look for substitutes of your favorite condiments that are sugar free...and watch out for anything containing high fructose corn syrup because that's really bad for diabetics. Examples of evening meal options: Skinny chicken marsala with sauteed asparagus and brown rice or swap for zucchini noodles (if you like mushrooms), just don't put your chicken in flour unless it's a nut flour. Easy beef and broccoli with brown rice just make sure for the sauce to use a sugar substitute Shrimp scampi with sauteed summer squash and whole wheat or lentil based pasta Pan sauteed salmon (seasoned with a touch of honey, garlic and real butter not margerine) with broccoli and garlic cauliflower and mushroom mix Meatless meal: stuff 4 Portobello mushroom caps with your favorite veggies and seasonings and top with cheese...bake in the oven at 400 for 12-15 minutes I hope this helps you. Pinterest is a great resource for recipies and if you use instagram follow tags for keto, diabetes, and low carb recipies. Just remember you want lots of lean protein and plants and less grains :)

Hi Bobby! I am totally hooked on learning from you and Desi (and Rose😉💕); so THANK YOU! 😊 Quick question ... I started using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (unflavored) because of you and Thomas DeLauer. Thank you! My question ... I bought the single serving bundle for convenience when traveling and found out after the fact, that the flavored collagen has “natural flavors”😱 I reached out to Vital Proteins and asked what they were and why they had them. I will send their response to me and if you can respond and let me know your thoughts, I would be grateful. “Update for Case CASE72806 - "Natural Flavors" To achieve our products’ different flavor profiles, we extract naturally-occurring compounds derived from real-food ingredients. Whether sourced from a spice, fruit, or other natural ingredient, these constituents are then blended together to create the flavor you love. Just like great-grandma’s spaghetti sauce, the ingredients in our natural flavors are proprietary. However, the formulation is non-GMO and contains no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Best, Team Vital”
