You have transformed the way I see chicken! I have spent my entire life trying to pass on chicken because I always thought of it as dry and bland. I decided to give it a shot again because your meals look great! Who knew lol. Thank you!

You are a believer now Jess! Isnt it crazy how a couple of techniques can make the chicken so much better!?

I have those chops in my freezer and I just bought em! I'm going to make that salad (hold the raisins tho) too. Thanks Bobby!!👏🏼
@BobbyParrish7 жыл бұрын
Right on my friend! You gotta limit the sweet potatoes bc of carbs?
@Harrrgh7 жыл бұрын
FlavCity with Bobby Parrish Yes, the sweet potatoes and the raisins and I love and miss both. Carbs spike the insulin, which stops the weight loss.💔
@emmajenna66007 жыл бұрын
Love your budget meal prep! I don’t like boiling my sweet potatoes. Instead, I like to steam or bake them. I think more flavors and sweetness are preserved.
@BobbyParrish7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Emma, there is defo more flavor if you roast them.then you might need to add a little broth or milk to the blender..;)

hey Bobby! Literally this made my mouth water. I loooveeeee sweet potatoes but i have been living in Colombia S.A and they do not have sweet potatoes or butternut squash, sooo what else can I use.
@BobbyParrish7 жыл бұрын
drool vision! Any type of sweet squash would work, you can also do it with carrots, just make sure not to over cook them while boiling. You can add a little curry powder to that puree, great combo!

Thanks for the idea of blending potatoes for mashing. I’m too lazy to boil them so i simply nuke em w/ cling film over the bowl. It gets the job done w/o having to drain it.

@ImKittyCow5 жыл бұрын
that's what im wondering, especially when the 'meals' are 550 calories each, and I'm a totally average dude who burns maintenance (read, without any exercise) calories of 2200. That means just I would need 4 of these meals a day at $3 a serving that's $12 in a single day just to not lose weight, without much significant movement. I'm in college and have like $5 a day!
@whit60794 жыл бұрын
Yes that is hard.. I have lived on Oatmeal, eggs, making your own beans, rice and eat less meat and buy easy veggies and fruit. Kale, spinach, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots, bananas, apples, nut mix, goes along way

How does the kale not get soggy sitting in the fridge over a few days? I ask coming from a person that rinses their kale prior to use. I do not have a salad spinner. How would you recommend to dry the kale after a rinse so that when i make the kale salad won't be soggy over the next few days of sitting in fridge like you did?

Bobby I believe many people were told by the doctor to limit their salt/sodium, they do not understand that high quality salt is very beneficial (providing vital minerals we need for proper cell and organ function) un-like the highly processed table salt, junk we used for decades, which causes damage. We are so much more informed, but some people still believe their doc knows all/better. Switch your salt to the high quality salt and you will see benefits, dump the table salt in the garbage and never buy/use it again.
