I just made these and they were really good and not at all over worked. Tender light and delish! I’m going to make these again and use some other extras like cranberry orange etc. mmmmmmm

I made these today but used blueberries and put a lemon glaze on top. Oh wow! These were SO amazing! Oh, I didn’t have heavy cream so I used plain Greek yogurt! Thank you so much for this recipe! Super easy and so delicious!

@@SugarSpunRunmade it today (lemon zest & blueberry in dough part) and used full fat plain Greek yogurt and about 2 tablespoons of water to make it more liquid consistency, like cream. After baking, glazed with reduction of sugar lemon syrup. Turned out great! 😋

Normally you can do that with sourdough, it might give it just that little more sour taste to it

I haven't tried milk. I would use full fat milk and maybe slightly less since it's thinner. The fat in the heavy cream will help keep the scones from being dry so you may have a bit dryer scone using milk as well. Let me know how it goes if you do try it! :)
