Thank you for your video. I have Lupus which result in hair loss for some of its sufferers, including me. I have a lot of hair loss and debated whether or not to cut the remaining hair off. I've been trying to hold on to what I have, but watching your video has inspired me to cut the remaining hair off, as I wear wigs anyway. Thank you.

Now Im use a hair closure now its now enough to cover my baldness so need to move to full lace wig.. In my country lupus patients are really rare so I felt so isolated these video and your comment strengthen me.. Thanku so much 🥰

I recently shaved my head due to pretty bad trichotillomania. I just bought my first wig ever for the first time and was a bit lost on where to start. this just helped so so much, like a friend were explaining it to me over facetime or something. thank you so much! ps: to all my bald / trichotillomania / losing hair / alopecia/ cancer / other girls in the comments - THERE ARE SO MANY OF US! we deserve to feel beautiful (whatever that means for us,) and we are so worthy of being seen and loved! stay strong all of you

This gave me the motivation to shave my hair due to it being extremely matted and tangled because of a 2 and half year depression slump. I'll be buying a lace wig and I'll watch this as I apply it. Thank you for giving this 16 yr old some motivation. Because now I can restart and let new hair grow.

@@egyptherrera6164 Agreed! I completely shaved when i was 19 because the years of chemical damage and perms and whatnot, (and not being taught how to take care of myself) on top of depression was NOT IT!!! Hair is a lot longer and healthier now, but wigs are legitimately so convenient. I can just let my hair chill and grow underneath it's awesome.

Thank you so much! I used to wear wigs 24/7 because I was so self conscious when I lost my hair in middle school kids were so mean. It took me until my early 20’s when I was pregnant with my daughter to realize that I was going to be her role model on how she feels about herself. So I finally became comfortable wearing nothing and now I have fun getting to be a life sized Barbie for her and switch my look whenever I feel like it! I wish Wigs were more accepted a lot sooner, just know that you are beautiful hair or no hair ❤️

Thank you so much, your voice is so gentle and kind and makes me feel ok for having a bald head and having to wear a wig. Also it looks wonderful and you did a great job. I would love to glue it to my head so I can sleep in it if I’m around people who I don’t want to see my bald head. You are awesome and make me feel so much more hopeful. It made me happy to see you smiling with no hair. Mine isn’t fully gone so it makes me hope that it all comes out so I will look nice like you did. I don’t have alopecia at least not diagnosed but I just lost most of my hair from stress from a stalker in the past 3 months and I’m only 21 and I’m scared to go out because I’ve worn a buzz cut for a year and when it started coming out about 3 months ago I had no option to grow my hair out to cover it so I have a buzz cut with 4 giant bald spots in the back and a horrible receding hairline and temples. I already suffered from anorexia (in recommission) and horrible body dysmorphia obsessions (still body check constantly) so I was very obsessive about it but now I am tired of staying inside because I hate looking at myself. I want to get a real hair wig and glue it just like you did so my baldness can be my little secret. If anyone wants to donate to my wig fund my cashapp is $sophieanda.

I know that exact feeling, I swore it would bring me negative attention but now I realize that whenever I do wear my wigs I fly under the radar but when I go natural I get stopped constantly by strangers either telling me how stunning I am or they love my “hair” which cracks me up because they don’t want to say head lol but it’s honestly a huge confidence booster when you do decide to try it! Check out a fb group called the baldie movement so you can see almost 2,000 women who also have a form of hair loss or even some by choice and they are working it! You can even try out your look with us before trying it in public just to get warmed up, but they are an amazing group of ladies and some are in all different stages of comfort levels and acceptance

Thank you so much for this video. I have alopecia and I have shaved 3 times. I was pondering whether to cut it again. I wanted to put wigs on a bald head and you have helped me to make that decision. You are beautiful with or without the wig. Thank you so much!

Please forgive me, for this is my humble-opinion. Even though we women like/love, hair, we are at our most beautifulest with little-to-no hair. I’ve shaved my head twice so far. There’s something about the “Feminizes-Aura” that is so striking when we are hairless. When we enter a room, all eye are on us. Our beauty has commended the attention of a Queen, in our own rights. Then when you smile and greet the room with a simple, warm gesture of a “HELLO!” The on lookers become tongue-tired, speechless & bewildered. All the while, the sounds ringing in their ears expressing, “Now, that’s a Bad-$itch!!!!!”

You’re so right I actually will wear my wig when I don’t want to be noticed because just natural I’ll get comments all day long, or questions if I have cancer 🙄 but I honestly love both it just depends on my mood and the weather 😂 because it’s cold out here for a scalp

I came across your video while I was looking up how to apply a wig. My mother too has alopecia and has worn wigs half my life to cover it. She used to have beautiful curly hair and I have been wanting to buy her a curly wig and I had seen the lace wigs when I went looking. My mother has always purchased wigs with a fake scalp so we have no idea how to apply them. Thank you so much for this video. And also I would like to say that you look beautiful with or without the wig.

Mermaidmom Oftwins thank you so much for sharing, it’s so amazing to me how many women have struggled with alopecia and still no cure! I love fake scalp wigs they are definitely the easiest to install, I actually just launched my website and that was the first wig I chose for anyone beginner or not because it is truly a time saver and looks great with little work! Let me know if you need any help with wigs I will be posting more install videos soon and ironically on a water wave curly wig lol

@@Vanali Thank you so much for the response. I did actually think of one more question. My mom has trouble finding wigs to fit her head since she has no hair and I think she just has a smaller head shape. Can you cut the lace wigs to fit a smaller head shape?
@Vanali
@Vanali 4 жыл бұрын
Mermaidmom Oftwins yes you definitely can but it can get a little tricky depending on what kind of wig it is and how much you need to cut. I wear a size small and it fits me snug just make sure with the lace front or full lace that you tighten the little straps on the bottom first and then you can customize the elastic band. With my pre made fake scalp wig it fits very secure, some won’t use any glue at all but for pulling the hair back you can use hairspray for the side burns. Oh also for any wigs that she already has that fits too lose you should try the wig grip head band it has a crushed velvet texture that helps give a better fit so it doesn’t slide around, they have them on amazon for less than 10$ I would recommend getting the one that’s a solid band the one with a lace section for parting is very uncomfortable
