I'm in love with him in all honestly. So amazing and raw, it's wonderful.

while at his concert in dublin, as he sang "someday i'll be like the man on the screen", i was experiencing the massive irony while everybody had their phone up, making sure they had it on their screen

It's interesting how Robin's voice can sound so different when in normal conversation from when he's gigging, and I don't mean singing, but his speaking voice does take on the same kind of tone he uses when singing (which I know isn't uncommon, but it's just in very stark contrast to his regular speaking voice). Pretty cool.

yeah that happens with most singers. i think it's most common with singers who have very different singing voices from their talking voice, so they kinda go into character to perform and therefore they talk a little different between songs. not to mention he's also talking to large audiences as opposed to one or a few people in a room.

That's the way it is for many great musicians. Inspiration comes from all of life.

Robin seemed very depressed last year because his girlfriend left him. Also they're in need of a new drummer. I don't think he'll stop making music, but I wouldn't expect anything in 2013 except maybe some solo songs.

He's writing the music for an indie film his brother is directing. Other than that; I don't think anyone knows. :P

I think he's already done with scoring the film, because on the Kickstarter page it says the movie will be out in "december 2012".

anyone know wtf Robin is up to ????he seems to have gone to ground ,,the last thing i heard was that dreadful song about his ex-girl,,,"Olivia...how can such a great songwriter not produce anything for nearly 2 years ...anyway, if you havent already, check out j. tillmans new album"fear fun" its great ...brilliant pop/ folk /blues/ rock. I'm really surprised at how consistantly good it is.
