I'm sure that as a drone pilot, you will have noticed that these X1 drone were being offered at £900 only 2 months ago. The links say around £400 now and, if you look around, just over £200. My advice to people, is to wait 6 months when they'll be well sub £100. The X1 is designed for the non-drone savvy market and the heavy, intense, marketing over the last few months is to grab some of that market before they catch on just how good and inexpensive 'normal' drones are these days...and buy those instead. That said, despite its limitations, the X1 does have a place in the market, just not at the prices being offered atm.

One source of very pronounced creaking I have had on a Ford before was a lower ball joint that had gone dry, it was awful, creaking it's way over every undulation in the road, or when i turned the steering. Sounds like a bit of work for the coming summer.

I definitely don't need the drone, but I definitely want one! My favourite toy atm is the DwarfLab 2 smartscope. A tiny little scope that you use via an app and is capable of taking images of deep sky objects like the Andromeda galaxy, the Orion nebula, etc etc. It's outside atm taking shots of the Pleiades (also known as the Seven Sisters, and also where Subaru got the inspiration for their badge). Currently -3° here, but I'm inside nice and warm while the scope does its thing.

That drone looks like a very handy bit of kit. Literally as it lands in the hand. Although I don't need a drone I have wanted one for a long time but something like this would probably scratch that itch. I'll have to check the specs. I think you can get pillar drill stands for some drills and attach them to a workmate bench that may help with Elle's mirror issue. It's a real pain when something minor is seized but hopefully Elle will be back out and about in the spring after a lot of the salt has washed away. I think you are right with Bella to focus next on the injectors although it might be worth costing replacements v diagnostics on the current ones but that won't tell you if the old ones are tired if you replace them. I'm sure you've already thought of this so apologies if you have. Many thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe.

Lovely to see Bella and the rest of the fleet but, a question about Bob, in relation to a comment you made. What is it, do you think, that makes Bob so warm. You recently camped out in Bob and despite storms and other variables had no significant issues. What forces - I guess of physics - do you think are at play here, with Bob? I lived in a 30ft static caravan for 3 years and the only way to stay comfortable was to leave one bar of the propane heater on 24/7. Of course we did have mould issues in the caravan but I don't see these issues with Bob. Many thanks.
